Skip Down the Street

SKIP DOWN THE STREET.

October 19, 2018

I’ve been waiting to write about this one.

While in previous posts I’ve spoken to the underlying meaning of the words; their double message. However, I want to just share how much fun it is to literally skip down a street, especially with friends.

A few years back, I had a chance to make some new friends while I was on vacation. One night, after a fair amount of drinking, we found ourselves literally skipping down the corridors. We laughed and had a wonderful night, much like the previous post about “Dancing the Night Away.”

The sheer act of skipping, as an adult, is comical. Others may observe and think you’ve lost your mind. However, it’s the escape of these social norm restrictions that make skipping enjoyable.

When was the last time you chose skipping down the street or hallway instead of walking? If it’s been more than 10 years, consider skipping as your next means of mobility.

P.S. My last time was while I was in Las Vegas with the same friends from my trip for their wedding 🙂
